Where have we been!

It's been a very long time since we updated this blog. Partly because this website is now out of date.... So why not let the blog be out of date, too! ...good logic.

In case you didn't know, we have a new album (our first!) called We Were Ghosts. It's a story about identity and hope. If you want to buy it, it's on itunes, amazon, and through our online store at www.thistherescue.bigcartel.com

We are also trying to set up our first tour, talking to some promoter about festivals, and constantly spamming you on facebook. And we hope to have the website updated before too long!

Looking forward to seeing you all again shortly... the age of technology is great for pseudorelationships, but you have all been vital to us and we enjoy face time with you. Makes us feel cool.

Hey guys,

It's been a few days, so studio updates!!

We have finished our first single, called Catch Your Breath! It will air on 98Rock (!!!) on August 8th, around 11pm. We'll be doing a quick interview, premiering the song, and pusing our show at The Quarter on August 9th- it would be so good to get your feedback if you can tune in and come out on the 9th!

Matt spent pretty much all day yesterday tracking the drums for Trouble and Low... for those of you with an EP, you'll be in for a few changes on Low! And Trouble is one of my favorite songs of ours... stoked about this track.

We'll be back in the studio on Monday working on more drum tracks.

We want you to be as much a part of the process as we are- so we will be live feeding most of the recording process!!

Kickstarter and the new album

Hey guys,

We have been in the studio the last few weeks, are aiming to have the album done being recorded by the end of August.

After paying for the recording process, it leaves us broke with no money to mix, master, or print the album.

This is where we need you. Visit our Kickstarter donation site (run through Amazon) to back our album. We have some cool rewards for backers!!

This site, if we reach our goal, will take a HUGE chunk of time off the release date. We're talking, 8-12 months.

As we wrote and started the recording process, we have found this album to be about finding our worth. It's about life and living and hurt and sorrow. It's about going back for the brokenhearted. 

It's about stirring hope where hope has long been forgotten.
